1983 Lincoln Town Car With a 1.3 Million Miles

Here is a great story about Chet Belisle and his 1.3 million mile town car.  He’s been driving it coast to coast for over twenty five years now. I saw this story on a CNN video feed and found a youtube link to it. He’s done an engine and transmission rebuild on it in that time, but other than the regular maintenance, it appears to have never broken down. This is quite a feat.  He seems to take advantage of the lifetime warranties on many of the parts as well. Why not, I say.  I wonder where he’s at now in that car.
