The High Mile Club Hall of Fame
On this page you will find a list of the highest mile cars we have featured on this site, from most to fewest miles. Unlike the main blog, your car must have at least five-hundred-thousand miles to be posted here. If the record is in kilometers, I’ve converted it to miles. Green entries are new. Do you know of a car that deserves to be on this list? Let me know.

Thanks for the invite Darryl.
Toyota 4runner 1999 @ 462,000 and going! Bought if off ebay as 2nd owner and have done regular maintenance, some suspension work due to worn out parts but nothing out of the ordinary. GREAT vehicle and looking forward to surpassing the 500k mark in the summer of 2019!
I have a 2000 Toyota Camry that I drive every day for work. It has 501,376 miles currently … and counting. Original engine and transmission.
2004 Hyundai Sonata V6 with 506,000 and counting. All original drivetrain.
Hi Mark, keep your sonata going and you will eventually pass me n miles. I have slowed down on yearly mileage. My 2001 Hyundai Sonata V-6 GLS has the original engine but the original transmission was replaced at 500K miles. I’m going to submit new pics soon so I can move back up on the Hall of Fame top 50 list. I’m currently 50th.
2001 VW Jetta 222,317 miles and still going.
hall of famer
Jos Vaillancourt 1963 Plymouth Fury
with a slant 6 who used it for living as a taxi
had a very dammageable accident. The Fury has been totally restored and resting in a museum in province of Québec with more than 1.6 million miles…Canadian record
Thanks for the info. I’ll write up a story about it when I get a moment. Seems like a pretty important part of high-mie history.
Hi I am A.j. from Georgia. I Have 1996 Toyota Camry with 700,000 and counting
Send me a submission about your Camry. 700,000 miles is pretty serious. I’d love to do a post about it.
Dear Jasohill, when was the last time the mileage (3,173,895 miles) of Mr. Irv Gordon updated ? What is his current reading ?
That is a great question. The last time I updated his mileage, I think it was around May or June. I’m pretty sure it’s much higher now. I’ll have to do a quick search and check.
Appreciate your quick response. I will be looking forward for the update.
Any update on Irv Gordon’s current mileage reading ? After all, his Volve P1800 is a flagship highmiler.
Got a 2005 f150 with 482,000 plus miles and going. Change the oil between 10 and 15000 miles and only change the transmission one time, one alternator, ac, radiator. Work the snot out of it and pull heavest stuff i can with it. Obd is his name. Best work truck i ever owned. Looking foward to making the list.
Road and track recently did a feature of a business owner who drives frequently and still daily drives his Porsche Turbo 930, with over 725k miles!

Thank you for posting this. I will follow up. It’s getting hard to keep track of all of these high-mile stories. I love it.
and a 2002 911 turbo with 590k miles:

I have a 2002 Honda CR-V with 239,245 miles. Hoping for at least .5K before deciding if I want to look for a newer vehicle – gas milage is dropping.
Lesli in Racine, WI
I’m getting close with my 1997 Saturn SL1 (yes, a Saturn). Just clicked over 451K and she’s still going as strong as you would expect a Saturn to get. Typically 40 mpg (5 speed), original engine, burns a little oil, but that gives me room for Slick 50 every 10K or so. Hope to be reporting out 500K soon.
Mercedes 240d limo, 5.4 million kms

My Camry is now at 325k miles. To my knowledge, orig eng and tran. Bought used after it was totaled by insurance for rear end damage. It has been totaled by insurance at least twice since, but good mechanical maintenance has paid off. I just dropped by to see what I might be able to expect! I’ll get back in touch after another couple hundred thousand miles!
Hello, I’m posting for a facebook user who have his 2010 Toyota Sequoia now approaching one million miles. I saw his posting 700,000, 800,000 and now recently 900,000 miles! Perhaps you could contact him 🙂 https://www.facebook.com/toyota/posts/10156190864164201
2002 honda accord lx special edition 2.3L vtec auto trans. all numbers matching car . no issues at all . just do regular maintenance and such . Still pulls 130mph++ . love this car . her name is Jane . 314,398 miles and is in perfect running order .
Interesting list.. although I noticed that all the vehicles with 500,000 are at least 10 years old, some older.. My civic has 300,000 and is a 2015..
Love the site and the list! Is there anyway to add info like the exact model specs, engine size, etc. I would love to use this list to buy my next car!
I have a 2006 Honda Civic EX, purchased in December 2005 with 313,000 miles & it’s still running great! I’ve replaced the starter twice & most of everything only once from normal wear & tear. Engine block was replaced twice due to recall. I look forward to how far my baby will take me. I love my car!
2014 Honda Civic with 400,00km.
Toyotas are awesome. My 2006 Toyota Tundra V6 has an amazing 793,477 miles with the original engine still humming. Regular maintenance is the key. Looking forward to hitting 1,000,000 and then some. A/C still freezing.
My 2007 Hyundai Vericruz is at 248,230 I purchased my baby new, and have driven every mile on it. I have had no major issues, and normal maintenance is all she ever needs. Regular oil changes, brakes, tires, and recall service. I couldn’t be happier, and look forward to the next 250k
I intend to buy Honda Civic 2008 in Jan 2019 with about 80k in the odometer.
Mr. Paul Habib Jr. is an inspiration to me and everyone else to save money and keep the car till retirement and beyond.
Latest model cars are overpriced and a piece of junk imo, compared to the rugged cars of the past.
I have a 2003 Toyota Camry with 180,000 miles. I plan on it reaching 1,000,000 some day.

I have a 1992 Civic VX I bought brand new which now has 551,622 miles on it and is my daily driver. Still in great shape. I have sent my info into this site twice but I can’t get it on here!
Hi Kenneth. I think either my replies to you are going in your spam box, or you messages to me are going in mine. I’m going to double check. I’d love to do a story on your Civic VX.
Could you send me another mail with another email address? The one I reply to isn’t working. It tells me it doesn’t exist. Thanks.
Hi Jason, I have the 1992 Civic VX with 552,353 miles on it as of this morning. It is in very good shape still, people offer to buy it at least 3 or 4 times a year. Thank you! Kenneth 2nd email address is kdmkhaus9@aol.com
Hi Kenneth. Thank you for that. I will contact you soon. I want to do a little write up on your car.
My wife and I own a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor with 329,038 miles. No engine or transmission work. Oil changes with Mobile 1 full synthetic at 5,000 miles and Purolator filters and transmission fluid at 25,000 miles with Castrol Transmax Import. It uses a little oil now (1/4 quart every 1,000 miles) but still runs great. It is mostly used as a back up vehicle but we drove it 250 miles round trip to Atlanta before Christmas (2018).
2006 ford mustang gt with 405,918 original motor with roush superchargher
1997 Toyota Corolla 411,000 miles
No major work done under the hood except the alternator. She still purrs like a kitten.
2013 Tesla Model S P85 over 621,370 miles (1,000,000 km), running actual motor for at least 422,500 miles (680,000 km) and battery pack 295,770 miles (476,000km); since 2014 18,640 miles (30,000km) owner is Hansjörg Gemmingen, how keeps going for 1,000,000 miles – may be more: https://www.teslarati.com/tesla-model-s-1-million-miles-video/
2005 Toyota Tundra V8 358,230 Miles! Needs no oil added between Mobil 1 oil changes. Other than fluid changes my first turn with a wrench on it in 4 years was valve cover gaskets. Was easy to work on and internals show no wear, no crusty oil anywhere, it still looked like a new engine inside. Original starter, Alternator and Radiator still going strong.
TRD (Toyota Remarkably Dependable)
My Ford Econoline 150 from 1984 has over 1.1 Million miles.
Got him for 950.- – decades ago with 195.000 the rest I drove with him.
Straight 6 300 rebuilt once with 460.000 running since then and to day , every Day.
Not so shiny then all the cars on the pictures its a day to Day worktruck Average weight 6500 pound
Best regards Chris Pausenwein
My 2005 Honda Civic just passed 320,000. Original everything.
I hope you consider a New High Mile List-just for active cars. Maybe the list of RETIRED only could be the EMERITUS list. Sooner or later, the top 50 will be all retired vehicles. Or conversely, a list only for cars still on the road. Either way, love the site. My car is a baby with only 336k.
as of 12/11/21…I am at 495750….I have a 2012 Acura TSX
2008 Honda CRV 487,364 miles and still going strong. Hope to break 500K in the next few months.
I also have a 2000 suburban 2 wheel drive LT edition that has over 800,000 miles on it now it still has the factory engine and transmission never replaced or overhauled the only major issue I’ve ever had on it was the rear end pinion bearing going out last year other then that just the common problems replaced the factory fuel pump at 550,697 a few alternators and batteries over the years and just regular maintenance and servicing every the oil every 3500 miles and it still runs and drives great I also just redone the whole front and rear suspension and went with all polyurethane bushings it has the complete K&N cold air system I did away with the clutch fan for a set of electrical fan system off a 2005 gmc 1500 and did away with the factory exhaust system and went with hooker long tube headers with dual 3” stainless steel exhaust with dual flowmaster mufflers and I’m getting ready to repaint it and change the color from white to matte gun metal gray with matte black fender flares and it already has a set of 20×12” matte black Fuel Maverick rims on it and I drive it daily and also pull a trailer between 3 to 5 times a week with it sometimes hauling loads of up to 10,000 pounds with it and it still pulls better and handles better then my old 1996 Ford F-250 I had
My 1992 Civic VX, which I purchased new, now has 632,000 miles on it. Still my every day driver. Very little repairs lately, other than the AC compressor just went out. After 30 years, I guess I can’t complain!
I’m driving a 2000 Toyota Solara (V6 automatic) with 639,000 miles on the original engine/transmission. It still runs good and shows no signs of its age. I bought it from the original owner with 113,000 miles on it. The most major work I did was to pull the left head due to reduced compression in two adjacent cylinders. I suspected a head gasket leak. Turned out, the head gasket was fine but an intake valve in the two cylinders had carbon buildup and were leaking. I cleaned the valves and checked all of the valve clearances in that head. All were right on the mark within specifications. Reassembled and compressions are all good now. This engine is port-injected and is prone to carbon buildup from recirculated oil residues from the PCV system….but apparently is good for LOTS of miles before that may occur!
That’s excellent.
There is a 2013 Hyundai Elantra with more than 1 million miles that is not on the list. Google it, Hyundai even gave a new car to the owner lady.
Yep, I seen her story on Facebook
Thank you. I’ll add it to the list when I have a moment.
